Hi Emma,
So glad to hear you’re enjoying the cabinet, and sorry about that door. Luckily it’s easy to fix: once the wood has settled, the hinges sometimes need a small adjustment.
I’ll come by on Thursday to adjust it. Does around 10:00 suit you? It’s about a quarter of an hour’s work, and it’s covered by the warranty, so there’s nothing to pay.
If anything else comes up in the meantime, just let me know.

Hi Sarah,
My sister got a bookcase from you last year and she still loves it, so here I am. We’d like a built-in cabinet in our attic, under the sloping roof, about four metres wide. Floor plan attached. 1Do you also work in Godalming? We live just outside the centre.
We’re thinking of something light, as the attic is fairly dark already. 2What kind of wood do you usually use? My wife loves oak, I’m not sure yet. We also wondered 3how long the installation takes, as we both work from home.
My in-laws stay with us over Christmas, in the attic. 4Could it be done before then? No disaster if not, we’ll put the bed somewhere else. 5And roughly what would something like this cost? Just so we know where we stand.

Lawson project: hallway, handover and invoice
Hi Sarah,
Good to see you on site last week. The kitchen is nearly finished and the client is very pleased with the work so far. Mark sent over the final drawings yesterday, they’re attached as well.
The client now also wants oak panelling in the hallway, about six metres. How soon could you fit that in? They’d like it done before the new year if possible.
Could you also join the handover on Tuesday at 14:00? We’ll go through everything once more with the client.
You’ll also find our invoice 2026-311 for the oak panels, €2,180.50 attached. Please pay it by Friday 2 October, otherwise we’ll have to hold the next delivery.
From 1 October we’re at a new address: 12 Station Road, Guildford. Post will be forwarded for a few weeks, but do update your records.
